Common Terms Explained

Multiple functions including check-weighing and counting. Many industry uses including; retail, warehouse, food. Smaller types sit on a bench or table, the larger scales sit on the floor.

Vehicle weighing scale, weigh use ranging from cars to articulated lorries. Can be floor mounted or pit mounted.

Hanging scale can weigh up to multiple tonnes. Sits on crane hook to take the weight of the load. Often used in steel stockholding and foundries, and marine agriculture weighing.

Used for parts counting.  Allows user to count batch of items by piece weight instead of by hand.
